Adoption Work

To assist Judicial Courts in Scrutiny petitions on child adoption both for in country and inter country under Hama/ Gawa/JJ act, Supreme Court of India has designated ICSW as a scrutiny agency, In Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu & Kerala.
ICSW is also the correspondent of International Social Services Geneva to verify cases referred on child welfare and child adoption issues.
Organising consultative workshops/seminars on child welfare and adoption
Frequent interaction with ACA and placement agencies on adoption related matters
Visit to judicial courts during hearing of petitions for child adoption
Furnishing necessary clarification and information on current legislations on adoption to judicial officers as an when requested verification of child to be adopted.
